Global Carrier Awards overview

"Nominations are now open for the Global Carrier Awards 2020, so prepare your submission and make sure you are in the running for one of these prestigious awards. Nominations deadline is now extended and submissions close on 5 August!

We received a record of 280 submissions in 2019, highlighting a plethora of key innovations and developments in the market. Last year we saw over 420 executives from across the international carrier community descend on London to celebrate the industry’s achievements from the past year.

The Global Carrier Awards will return on 21 October and this is your chance to be part of the stellar 2020 edition. The event will take place at the indigo at The O2, London.

We are proud to be part of Capacity Europe 2020 - Europe's largest event uniting the global connectivity industry.

In 2019, Capacity Europe looked at the telecommunications infrastructure and expertise that is making the latest advancements possible, from edge computing, 5G, IoT, AI and network automation, LEO satellites, SD-WAN, blockchain and more.

The event brought together more than 2,500 attendees to London, representing 650+ companies spanning 90+ countries. It enabled trading and thought leadership for the connectivity landscape including OTT & Content Providers, IXPs, ISPs, Data Centres, Cloud Service Providers, Investors, Network Providers, Law Firms, Consultancies, Government and Regulators and more."

Tech and Telecom industry awards can be a quick way to raise your profile and gain recognition for exceptional work over the past year. Even if you’re just shortlisted, you’re still being recognised by judging panels and singled as a leader in the industry.

The challenge can be getting started and engaged with an awards programme. You enter the same one or two awards every year but there are a lot of awards that tech and telecoms companies are eligible to win.

At Ilex, we have organised a number of awards schedules for our clients to ensure that the company is entering the appropriate awards and to stop crucial deadlines from being missed. Over the years, we have helped our clients win hundreds across the globe, from Asia to the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. The key has been to develop an awards programme, maintain it and write exceptional entries.
