Deutsche Telekom invests $25m in Teridion

Deutsche Telekom is investing US$25 million in Teridion, an Israeli software company founded in 2013. The operator has been working with Teridion since the beginning of the year and will join existing investors such as Singtel’s Innov8, Jerusalem Venture Partners and Magma Venture Partners.

As interest rates rise, IHS Towers borrows $600m at 3.75%

The company says most of the money will be used to repay a $280 million bridge facility due to mature in February 2023, plus part of a $76 million Nigerian credit facility due to mature in September 2024.

KKR is in the lead to acquire Vodafone’s $14bn tower arm

KKR has teamed up with Global Infrastructure Partners in the race to buy Vantage Towers and initially faced competition from the likes of American Tower and EQT, however, it is understood that the KKR deal is preferred.

IBM AND VODAFONE STRIKE QUANTUM TECH PARTNERSHIP

IBM announced today at the IBM Quantum Summit 2022 that Vodafone Group is collaborating with IBM on quantum-safe cybersecurity and also joining the IBM Quantum Network, which will give the company cloud access to IBM’s advanced quantum computing systems, as well as IBM’s industry-leading quantum expertise.

Instagram debuts new age-verification tools in UK and EU

Anyone trying to edit their date of birth from that of an under-18 to that of an over-18 must verify their age. But now, users have the option to record a video of themselves that will be analysed by age-estimation technology instead of uploading an ID.

BT launches advisory board for digital transformation
