Vodafone UK Sees Fixed Broadband Surge to 1.11 Million Customers

Vodafone UK has this morning published their latest Q2 FY23 results, which reveals that their fixed broadband ISP base grew again to total 1.111 million customers (up sharply by 39k in the quarter vs 22k in Q1 FY23) and their mobile base also surged again to total 17.543 million (up by 321k vs 115k in the previous quarter).

Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg told employees on Thursday that WhatsApp and Messenger would drive the company's next wave of sales growth, as he sought to assuage concerns about Meta's finances after its first mass layoffs. 5G internet to be officially launched in Zambia

Government has announced that the fifth Generation Mobile (5G) network will be officially launched in Zambia with MTN Zambia on November 24, 2022. Technology and Science Minister, Felix Mutati, made this announcement in Lusaka today on the sidelines of the ongoing Innovation Africa Summit.
