Orange has opened its Open RAN Integration Center in France, dedicated to Open RAN technology, a reference technology for future mobile networks. This testing and integration space, which will enable companies from the Open RAN ecosystem to test and validate their products and services, and thus accelerate the development of this technology, is the first of its kind to open in France.

oiiOPENREACH SIGNS COP26 PLEDGE, UNVEILING ELECTRIC VAN FLEET

Openreach has signed up to the COP26 Transport Declaration, committing to transition to 100% zero emission cars and vans by 2030. The company's 28,000-strong fleet, the second largest in the UK, is going zero emissions by 2030 and will be supported by a newly created, dedicated project team focused on cutting fleet emissions and helping to identify alternative, cleaner technologies.
