Isolated Cook Islands to be connected by new SES satellites
Vodafone Cook Islands is to use the new O3b mPower satellites, launched a few days ago, to extend its 4G services across the islands. The company, which has a brand licensing arrangement with Vodafone Fiji and the Vodafone group, said commercial services from the new satellites ae expected to begin in the third quarter of 2023.

Netflix with ads off to a slow start, but with a silver lining
Netflix hopes to spur subscriber growth and create a new dual-revenue revenue model with an ad-supported plan launched last month in a dozen countries. However, according to a new study from Antenna, Netflix's new "Basic with Ads" plan, which fetches $6.99 per month, is not off to a fast start.

ITALIAN GOVT PUSHING TIM TO PLACE SPARKLE UNDER ROME’S CONTROL

Space launches are set to take place in the UK after Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Orbit was granted licences to operate them. The decision was described as a "milestone" by the space regulator, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Amazon could be blamed for fake Louboutin shoe ads
Amazon could be held responsible for advertising 'fake' red-soled shoes, potentially breaching designer Christian Louboutin's EU trademark. Similar red-soled high heels are advertised on Amazon by third party vendors without Louboutin's consent. Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) said Amazon may be accountable for any trademark infringement. Louboutin said the platform's selling model was "misleading the public".

New satellite IoT gateway deployed to fight poaching in Africa
