Vodafone Ireland launches new tool to help mitigate cyberattacks

The tool can detect malware and phishing attempts. It also has parental controls that can be adjusted via an app or online.

Virgin Media O2 offers £3bn for TalkTalk

Today, a report from Sky News suggests that Virgin Media O2 (VMO2) has approached TalkTalk with an offer of £3 billion to takeover the UK ISP.

Sources suggest that the indicative bid was submitted over the last few weeks, with ongoing discussion being held on a ‘non-exclusive basis’.

Vodafone NZ sells tower unit for $1.1bn
 
 
Vodafone New Zealand has confirmed it is selling its passive mobile tower assets for NZ$1.7 billion (US$1.1 billion).

The announcement was made by Vodafone and its partner Brookfield Asset Management.

Verizon Public Sector announced an over $400 million Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) task order with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to help the agency meet increasing demands for data bandwidth around the globe successfully.

Aruba to open 30MW of data centres in Rome in early 2023

Aruba, based in Bergamo, close to Milan, says its IT4 hyper cloud data centre (pictured) will sit in a 74,000 sq m site in the east of Rome and comprise five data centres of 6MW each.
