Elon Musk strikes deal to buy Twitter for $44bn

The board of Twitter has agreed to a $44bn (£34.5bn) takeover offer from the billionaire Elon Musk.

Mr Musk, who made the shock bid less than two weeks ago, said Twitter had "tremendous potential" that he would unlock.

SUB.CO Oman cable completes final landing

SUB.CO has announced that the final cable landing for its 10,000km Oman Australia Cable (OAC) was completed in Barka, Oman as it nears service.

The investment firm says it is the world’s first diverse cable between EMEA and Asia and was first announced in 2019.

A Dutch company that plans to sell flying cars has set up bases in Coventry and Oxford.

Pal-V is going through the final stages of testing and applying for licences and then plans to offer training to potential pilots at the two locations.
