WhatsApp is rolling out a feature that allows users to have photos or videos vanish after they are seen. After the recipient opens the image for the first time, "view once" deletes it, without saving it to a phone.

gangs on e-scooters targeting gps farm equipment
Gangs are using e-scooters to sneak on to UK farms and steal high-value GPS technology, an insurer has said. NFU Mutual said the cost of replacing the stolen equipment that forms an "essential part of modern farming" nearly doubled in a year to £2.9m.

1&1 partners with Rakuten to build Germany's fourth mobile network
Back in 2019, Germany’s only virtual mobile network operator, 1&1 Drillisch, was notably allocated spectrum in the country’s 5G spectrum auction, signalling its intention to deploy its own mobile network infrastructure for the first time. Now, the operator has partnered with Japan’s Rakuten to build out a new Open RAN network, becoming the first operator in Europe to rely entirely on the new technology for its mobile network.
