Ilex has chosen Safe in Sussex as the local charity to receive our annual Christmas donation. We support all sorts of good causes throughout the year, but at Christmas we like to pick a worthy cause closer to home.
The charity provides help and support for those impacted by domestic abuse in Sussex and are looking to raise vital funds to support their project ‘Finding Freedom From Abuse’. Monies raised will go to funding a Refuge Support Worker to provide essential assistance and empower those who need it to rebuild their lives free from abuse. The charity runs four refuges in the county.
We know that Christmas can be especially difficult for those who are vulnerable and the increased pressures this year with the cost-of-living crisis will only mean times are even tougher.
The good news is this year Safe in Sussex is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign.
Any donation received between 29th November and 6th December via the link below will be doubled!
